Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Filip Soetemans started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's 胡坚战 got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Lauaxeta took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lauaxeta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute Fenerbahce ISTANBUL were awarded a corner. Filip Soetemans went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Filip Soetemans to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filip Soetemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Soetemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrik Henriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronny Rau in the 22nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Jairo Lauaxeta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Fenerbahce ISTANBUL fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Jairo Lauaxeta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 胡坚战 made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but 胡坚战 made a huge save. After 33 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Jairo Lauaxeta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Fenerbahce ISTANBUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Henriksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Filip Soetemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. When Jairo Lauaxeta came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Fenerbahce ISTANBUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Lauaxeta couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Ronny Rau's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronny Rau helped the player get up and apologised. 51 minutes into the game, one of Fenerbahce ISTANBUL:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL:s 胡坚战 showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Cristian Sancho advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-3 in the 54th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. 胡坚战 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Felix Montenegro in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Stefan Zweig. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Atilla Sayyad got a free kick in the 75th minute. 胡坚战 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Sancho's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. After 82 played minutes Fenerbahce ISTANBUL got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Polakowski. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's 胡坚战 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. When Filip Soetemans came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fenerbahce ISTANBUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Soetemans couldn't finish the play. 胡坚战 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 88th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Jairo Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's supporters rose to their feet, but Jairo Lauaxeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Soetemans got free with Julio Vera in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Fenerbahce ISTANBUL to win.
