After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adriano Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Boro Paunović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adriano Cruz came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 谢克军 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Pedro Luís de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nae Ursulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nae Ursulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nae Ursulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Adriano Cruz however easily saved by the left post. 30 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Cruz. Littles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Felix Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a little luck, Littles's Adriano Cruz got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, 谢克军 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and 谢克军 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the match, Littles's 谢克军 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 谢克军 was the one to do the kick off. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Adriano Cruz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Cruz having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 谢克军 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 59th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Littles the free kick. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 谢克军 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adriano Cruz. Littles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 72nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Christian Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 89th minute of play forced Littles's goalkeeper Adriano Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Christian Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
