Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Correa during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Alnis Mežavecis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dzintars Donass got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Toms Boze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Toms Boze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toms Boze in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Toms Boze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toms Boze in the 42nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Toms Boze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alnis Mežavecis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Arvīds Ancveriņš made the kick off in the second half. Pēteris Laupacis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alnis Mežavecis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Toms Boze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK BJSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. FK BJSS's Arvīds Ancveriņš got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute of the match Markuss Zitkēvičs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Mina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK BJSS the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Toms Boze managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK BJSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Toms Boze was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Venezuela succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though FK BJSS had controlled the match.
