Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tato Vega made the kick off and thus started the match. Rigoberto Mina hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano threw the ball into play from the sideline. Que se abra o mar's Albertinho Andrade quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 22nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Sandro Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd match minute, Que se abra o mar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho da Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match, Tato Vega got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Que se abra o mar's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Sandro Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Noel Perez, made in the 59th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lando Norin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Sandro Tepedino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Sandro Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Que se abra o mar's Loco Orange was substituted for Tato Vega. When Que se abra o mar's Loco Orange in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lando Norin in the 85th minute of play. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee ended the match the Que se abra o mar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
