Roch Orszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Esporte Clube Pilar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Esporte Clube Pilar's Bautista Quintero got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Orszak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Orszak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roch Orszak. Roch Orszak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Roch Orszak made a huge save. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Esporte Clube Pilar's goalkeeper Roch Orszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Esporte Clube Pilar's Roch Orszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Orszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Esporte Clube Pilar getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Raul Moura hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roch Orszak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Esporte Clube Pilar made a substitution. Walmyr Neto replaced Yan Zonta. Esporte Clube Pilar's Roch Orszak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Pilar from getting a goal against them. Roch Orszak made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target.
