The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Ludwig Modig got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Argento, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Lost Boys Sports Academy's goalkeeper Ivan Drago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pepe Argento scored 0-4 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ove Boström made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 53rd minute Lost Boys Sports Academy were awarded a corner. Merih Demiral went to the cornerflag to take it. Lost Boys Sports Academy's Hugo Bank was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Pepe Argento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lost Boys Sports Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Pepe Argento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lost Boys Sports Academy made a substitution. Coronel Llorente replaced Ludwig Modig. The audience was convinced that Johan Sellberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Lost Boys Sports Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Ivan Drago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hu Cheng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Lost Boys Sports Academy players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
