Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Zorita made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, Mosk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Fransen to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Soer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Deijnen in the 8th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Ivo Deijnen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Martin Soer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 22nd minute of play forced Mosk's goalkeeper Martin Soer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ed Seinstra in the 24th minute. Martin Soer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Henk Appeldoorn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Martin Soer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Soer. Martin Soer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Mosk booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ivo Deijnen came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Mosk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Deijnen couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ed Seinstra to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 54th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 60 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Menno Adams's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menno Adams helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mosk's Menno Adams got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berry Korevaar in the 64th minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Soer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Mosk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Martin Soer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Mosk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Mosk booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mosk's Martin Soer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Mosk from getting a goal against them. In the 85th minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Soer. Martin Soer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ted Winter's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Ted Winter hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mosk's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Soer came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador played a much better game than Mosk and deserved their victory. The Mosk players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
