Currito Torrente was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 7 minutes into the match, Tullidos FC's goalkeeper Currito Torrente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tullidos FC's goalkeeper Currito Torrente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Celestino Mannie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Currito Torrente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Murillo got free with Currito Torrente in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Currito Torrente stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Currito Torrente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balázs Kulcsár in the 31st minute of play. Currito Torrente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Peru's Julian Murillo in the 38th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Currito Torrente was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tullidos FC through an amazing save. In the 40th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Tullidos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. If Pudes Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Mannie in the 61st minute of play. Tullidos FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dantel Lama took the corner. After taking down the ball on Tullidos FC's corner Celestino Mannie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Currito Torrente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tullidos FC made a substitution. Etxepare Lermo replaced Kornél Kormos. 69 minutes into the match, Tullidos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Currito Torrente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tullidos FC's Currito Torrente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Tullidos FC booed when Peru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Reyes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Currito Torrente was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. 92 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Abecia threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Rafael Gallo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Gallo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Currito Torrente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
