The throw-in from Mert Perkel in the 7th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 10 minutes into the match, 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Serhat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 19 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serhat Semin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 28th minute, Julian Murillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Serhat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play. 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's 洪飞正 was substituted for Ton Uebels. Alonso Berganza kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 46 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's goalkeeper Serhat Semin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 BELA HÜSNÜ made a substitution. Asaf Kural replaced Ahmet Orhan Sözer. With an all-out effort, Peru's Serhat Semin threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Kutalp Teksen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's Norbert Ciechocki was substituted for 洪飞正. Serhat Semin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Prats, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Peru's Emmanuel Reyes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Serhat Semin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kutalp Teksen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. Serhat Semin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mert Perkel, made in the 81st minute of the game. 85 minutes into the match, 7 BELA HÜSNÜ's Kutalp Teksen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kutalp Teksen in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serhat Semin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Ahmet Nasir Boz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than 7 BELA HÜSNÜ.
