He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Krasnosielc reached it. 7 minutes into the match, FC Krasnosielc's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Maciej Budrewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Cambeiro in the 9th minute of play forced FC Krasnosielc's goalkeeper Maciej Budrewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Matthew Garrido. Alex Cambeiro's late challenge caught a FC Krasnosielc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Cambeiro helped the player get up and apologised. 17 minutes into the match, Wincent Dawiec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wincent Dawiec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dobromir Degutis hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Maciej Budrewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd minute Alex Cambeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Budrewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Barrios to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Miralles during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Berganza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincent Dawiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krzysztof Rutecki in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cotilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
