The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. After the first half Peru were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Francisco Barrionuevo as he didn't even see the shot coming. 55 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Akif Akın came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Barrionuevo made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tunç Akkaya in the 79th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tunç Akkaya in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. ALASKU TSG's Francisco Barrionuevo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save ALASKU TSG from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, ALASKU TSG's Francisco Barrionuevo got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru made a substitution. The ALASKU TSG supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
