Chus Insausti made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Ponc when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arsenio Maria might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arsenio Maria ran back to his position shaking his head. After 10 minutes of play, Villa Mitre City's Feliciano Fernendo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliciano Fernendo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Maria in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Urbano Mendiko almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 27th minute Feliciano Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Ponc, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Fernendo in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Urbano Mendiko was slow to take the kick. During this time Villa Mitre City's players had a chance to rest. Urbano Mendiko made a great header on Villa Mitre City's corner, it was just that Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 42nd minute, Feliciano Fernendo made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ariel Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Ariel Ponc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 47th minute of the match.

Villa Mitre City made a substitution. Imam Sarwono replaced Saturnino Lehior. Villa Mitre City's Benigno Ibañez was substituted for Chus Insausti. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliciano Fernendo to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Eloy Urdaspal got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Feliciano Fernendo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Villa Mitre City were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauricio Macías took the corner. The goal made the score 0-4. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Macías. 92 minutes into the match, Mauricio Macías dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-6. After 95 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Villa Mitre City were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
