Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Olaf Kochowski sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Kickers United's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Cederik Huts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Dino Maquiano tried to sneak it across the goal line. The nice shot from Dino Maquiano in the 45thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Thiago Pliego had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Cederik Huts had great luck who in the 52ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Mariano Lacasa from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kickers United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Cederik Huts had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Mariano Lacasa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Cederik Huts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Maquiano in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cederik Huts. Cederik Huts dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Cederik Huts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 63rd minute. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cederik Huts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Maquiano in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. After 69 minutes, Dino Maquiano made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Toon Adriaensens hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Cederik Huts in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kickers United's Cederik Huts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Kickers United from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 98th minute of play. When the match was over Chile could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kickers United throughout the match.
