SUPERSTAR - DMZ were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Panama's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alex Toledo took the corner. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Isidoro Sarmiento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SUPERSTAR - DMZ the free kick. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. Romeu de Godoi charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeu de Godoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romeu de Godoi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Panama fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edvaldo Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Elder Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elder Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 36 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Igor Reis. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Igor Reis. Elder Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 39th minute of the match. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's attentive Benjamim Saldanha managed to snatch the ball when Matthew Garrido made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. The supporters of Panama booed when SUPERSTAR - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abraham Alguacil was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Cardoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the game, Matthew Garrido threw the ball into play from the sideline. SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Igor Reis quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 61st minute. Edvaldo Zonta might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Cotilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvaldo Zonta ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Zonta in the 65th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Edvaldo Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SUPERSTAR - DMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 73 minutes into the game, SUPERSTAR - DMZ's Romeu de Godoi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvaldo Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Tomas Berganza scored 2-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder Cardoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th match minute, SUPERSTAR - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Toledo to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes SUPERSTAR - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Passos. Miguel Miralles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Cardoso having to interfere. Romeu de Godoi scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SUPERSTAR - DMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
