Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Thierry Auroy started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Auroy came free, but Lucas Rallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute of the game Diego Farges made a throw-in which Carlos Taillade played forward. 7 minutes into the game, France's Réda Kolb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucas Rallo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Réda Kolb recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21stth minute of the game Froilan Reyes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Christophe Pourre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Reyes in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christophe Pourre, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Froilan Reyes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christophe Pourre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. When Spain's Froilan Reyes in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Réda Kolb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Rallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

France's Christophe Pourre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesc Tamari in the 74th minute of play. Christophe Pourre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Coronel Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jocelyn Care in the 81st minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Lucas Rallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spain's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Taillade was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. In the 85th minute, Coronel Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christophe Pourre was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Christophe Pourre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jocelyn Care during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Jocelyn Care hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bayan Baye took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christophe Pourre. France's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Combettes in the 92nd minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Lucas Rallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When France's Harold Combettes in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Spain's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Spain fans cheered their team off the field, for while France had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
