The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Honduras's Sebastian Villa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franciszek Marud made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Franciszek Marud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Espiga to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, TeReFerere's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Franciszek Marud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TeReFerere's Franciszek Marud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, TeReFerere's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Franciszek Marud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariusz Liberko kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. TeReFerere's Franciszek Marud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Edmundo Espiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Honduras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Ignacy Pieprz managed to get in a good position for a shot. TeReFerere's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacy Pieprz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Franciszek Marud to make any attempt to save it. Franciszek Marud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Piglowski in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 78th minute of play forced TeReFerere's goalkeeper Franciszek Marud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Espiga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Franciszek Marud made a huge save. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boguslaw Piglowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Boguslaw Piglowski notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, TeReFerere's Franciszek Marud got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
