Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ed Seinstra kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play forced Mosk's goalkeeper Martin Soer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Ed Seinstra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 8th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ed Seinstra got free with Julio Vera in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced Mosk's goalkeeper Martin Soer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 played minutes Mosk got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Deijnen. Martin Soer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Martin Soer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Berry Korevaar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martin Soer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Berry Korevaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Soer having to interfere. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berry Korevaar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Soer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Martin Soer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 43rd minute, Felix Dijkstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Martin Soer could save by the left post. Martin Soer made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Felix Dijkstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mosk's Martin Soer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Martin Soer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Soer made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Berry Korevaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berry Korevaar ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Martin Soer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mosk's Mario van Westerop was substituted for Berend Coopman. Mosk's Ted Winter was substituted for Henk Appeldoorn. In the 82nd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Martin Soer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
