Heraclides García's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacobo Nores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. In the 21st match minute, Baby Barza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Morales to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heraclides García got free with Jacobo Nores in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Pardo in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Mota saved Baby Barza from getting behind. In the 26th minute Heraclides García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Escobar hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Reinaldo Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 33rd minute of the match. Reinaldo Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Pardo went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Heraclides García to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arxel Izquierdo in the 52nd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Antonio García in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano. 66 minutes into the match, Heraclides García notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the game, Baby Barza's Arxel Izquierdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacobo Nores made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Antonio García made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arxel Izquierdo immediately put the ball in play. After 89 played minutes Baby Barza got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Escobar. After 90 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. If Heraclides García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Baby Barza players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
