Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mao Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Adérito Abreu ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 16th minute of the match, Fryderyk Grucza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mao Zhen Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play. Fabrício Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Lustosa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabrício Lustosa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Fabrício Lustosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Fryderyk Grucza made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 53rd minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Simon Matsson fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Monte Gordo's protests and gave Simon Matsson a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Academia Monte Gordo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! Academia Monte Gordo:s Mao Zhen Hong showed great skill when he stopped Joel Gaona:s penalty. 68 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mao Zhen Hong. Academia Monte Gordo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Mouricio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Luca Rouco advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-4 in the 73rd minute. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Fabrício Lustosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mao Zhen Hong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adélio Infante in the 92nd minute of the match. After 93 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adérito Abreu who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Mao Zhen Hong threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fabrício Lustosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabrício Lustosa ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mexico eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
