Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis made the kick off and thus started the match. Florin Susara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara. But to his dismay, Florin Susara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14thth minute of the game Alessandro do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Vágner Porto advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Florin Susara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florin Susara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Vágner Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, MarquinhosEC's Alessandro do Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Axel Tasis's late challenge caught a MarquinhosEC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Axel Tasis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Susara in the 26th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Florin Susara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Susara came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alessandro do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Curt Montes in the 37th minute of play. Barrie Deacon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Alessandro do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Curt Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Alessandro do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro do Valle made a kick off. Florin Susara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Florin Susara slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 54th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Curt Montes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-9 in the 57 minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Curt Montes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Alessandro do Valle made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Inácio Freitas replaced Alessandro do Valle. MarquinhosEC made a substitution. Rubinho Valle replaced Esteve Quinto. MarquinhosEC's Perivaldo Guimarães was substituted for Curt Montes. After 69 minutes of play, MarquinhosEC's Florin Susara made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Inácio Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Inácio Freitas came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Inácio Freitas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Inácio Freitas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-13. Perivaldo Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perivaldo Guimarães received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Perivaldo Guimarães slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 83rd minute. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match, Barrie Deacon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Florin Susara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Inácio Freitas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 0-15. After having played for 94 minutes, Perivaldo Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Costa Rica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MarquinhosEC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
