Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gonzalo Lixandro made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Israel Carvalhal who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Israel Carvalhal to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kevin Mastache scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Qiu Chuan Ran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gonzalo Lixandro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Raimundo Ventura took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Qiu Chuan Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Bras to maneuver through the defense. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Qiu Chuan Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiu Chuan Ran saved Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Chuan Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Qiu Chuan Ran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Qiu Chuan Ran in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Qiu Chuan Ran managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Rodolfo Faria ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Ventura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Modesto Bras in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Qiu Chuan Ran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Qiu Chuan Ran was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Sarmiento showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 68 minute of play. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. made a substitution. Claudemiro Madureira replaced Israel Carvalhal. Qiu Chuan Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 72nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 73rd minute of the game. One of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. In the 79th minute, Abram Secada got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Qiu Chuan Ran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Lixandro in the 87th minute of the match. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Modesto Bras made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
