Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Philip Boffin saved FURIA FIEL from getting behind. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 4 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. In the 7th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Philip Boffin. FURIA FIEL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aníbal Motta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. In the 16th match minute, FURIA FIEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Pócsi to maneuver through the defense. After 20 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Boffin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philip Boffin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Vítor Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philip Boffin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Deivid Paulista was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. FURIA FIEL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Henriksson got free with Julio Vera in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vítor Abraão struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FURIA FIEL. When FURIA FIEL's Knut Henriksson in 40 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Julio Vera guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Philip Boffin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 41st minute of play. After 45 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Norbert Pócsi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FURIA FIEL and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FURIA FIEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Pócsi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 56 minutes into the match, FURIA FIEL's goalkeeper Philip Boffin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Philip Boffin quite easily take care of the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Antonio Arias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip Boffin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Motta in the 60th minute of the match. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Motta during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Aníbal Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 69th minute of the match FURIA FIEL got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wieslaw Klucznik ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Wieslaw Klucznik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vítor Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. FURIA FIEL's Philip Boffin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FURIA FIEL from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Philip Boffin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Philip Boffin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FURIA FIEL's Philip Boffin got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FURIA FIEL.
