Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastián Dikaté started the match with the kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Caneças having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Sebastián Dikaté put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. 13 minutes into the game, Província's Vice Alilović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Província's Gregório Pepetela got a free kick in the 16th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Província's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Paulo Caneças reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Província booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Vice Alilović sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Caneças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 23rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Quilempan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Caneças during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, Pedro Caneças hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastián Dikaté struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Província. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Venezuela booed when Província was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Quilempan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Arlindo Bueno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Paulo Caneças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 61st minute of play. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 91st minute of play forced Província's goalkeeper Paulo Caneças to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas had several of the Província's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 93 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-1 score and a disappointed Paulo Caneças as he didn't even see the shot coming. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Província fully deserved thier win.
