Brian Fumey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Milagros Fraga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Fumey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. J.P. Kapar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 8thth minute, Rolando Noboa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play forced Roncourt's goalkeeper Brian Fumey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Fumey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Fumey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 20 played minutes Roncourt got a freekick which was hit by Judas Bricaud. The throw-in from Alonso Berganza in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Roncourt's Judas Bricaud. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roncourt's goalkeeper Brian Fumey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Peru booed when Roncourt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Roncourt getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Thierry Lhermite hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Roncourt's zone, Milagros Fraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brian Fumey came out of the goal and Milagros Fraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Mina struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Brian Fumey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 46th minute of the game Judas Bricaud made a throw-in which Horácio Larreta played forward. Rolando Noboa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but J.P. Kapar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 48 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when J.P. Kapar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by J.P. Kapar in the 53rd minute of play. Julian Murillo's late challenge caught a Roncourt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Murillo helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Murillo hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Fumey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 74 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when J.P. Kapar came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Judas Bricaud in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 88th minute, 忠 杨浩克 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. In the 89th match minute, Roncourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 忠 杨浩克 to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd match minute, Roncourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Judas Bricaud to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Judas Bricaud during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Judas Bricaud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
