Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuralp Eracar started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuralp Eracar in the 11th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florida United's Gabriel Ibar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Florida United's goalie and right to Luis Cazalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Florida United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 21st minute Nuralp Eracar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Abel Branco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Sol Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Ibar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Axel Montenegro sped through Florida United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gabriel Ibar. 44 minutes into the match, Florida United's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Gabriel Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ibar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. The throw-in from Abel Branco in the 50th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Gabriel Ibar in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Eracar in the 54th minute of play. Gabriel Ibar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Abel Branco made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Florida United's goalkeeper Gabriel Ibar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gabriel Ibar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Ibar. Gabriel Ibar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 74th minute, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Ibar. Gabriel Ibar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Bållström went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ibar. Florida United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mark Bållström went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. Nuralp Eracar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Florida United were victorious despite being under pressure from Colombia for much of the match.
