Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Bemabe's shot from long distance in the 3rd minute was not bad at all, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. The supporters of Real Academia Serengetti booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Carballal to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Abeijon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jaime Cazalla struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Alfonso Polo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Polo. Alfonso Polo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With his leg Joaquin Gayoso managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Real Academia Serengetti's Guillermo Emesto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Celso Vimaro made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Americo Ferrer immediately put the ball in play. When Lisandro Esquipula fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Academia Serengetti's protests and gave Lisandro Esquipula a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Academia Serengetti getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Lisandro Esquipula hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Polo. Real Academia Serengetti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Americo Ferrer charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Americo Ferrer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Americo Ferrer got a free kick in the 25th minute. When Jaime Cazalla came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Cazalla couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maximiliano Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvano Grabiel charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Grabiel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Academia Serengetti's Silvano Grabiel got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Real Academia Serengetti booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beldad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes, Guillermo Emesto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Academia Serengetti and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guillermo Emesto kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Polo. Real Academia Serengetti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 41st minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Academia Serengetti's Alfonso Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th match minute, Real Academia Serengetti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Bemabe to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Uruguay were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 57th minute, Francisco Seco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfonso Polo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Francisco Seco might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisco Seco ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfonso Polo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Maximiliano Escribano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 61 minute of play. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Celso Vimaro with Americo Ferrer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Alfonso Polo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Real Academia Serengetti defense, Francisco Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Polo. The Real Academia Serengetti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Polo should have stopped the shot. Alfonso Polo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Francisco Seco could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Alfonso Polo however easily saved by the left post. A throw-in in the 75th minute of the game was made by Celso Vimaro with Americo Ferrer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Polo having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Real Academia Serengetti's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cazalla came free, but Alfonso Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Alfonso Polo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Polo saved Real Academia Serengetti from getting behind. In the 89th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jaime Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uruguay's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
