Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Graneros's Feliberto Otsando started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Tallia in the 8th minute of play. Attilio Perna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Attilio Perna in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Attilio Perna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Montenegro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Attilio Perna 13 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Attilio Perna made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Graneros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Graneros's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Attilio Perna, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Otsando in the 36th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Silbestre made a great header on Graneros's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Leon Annilker hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Attilio Perna made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Graneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adan Silbestre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Graneros's Leon Annilker got a free kick in the 45th minute. Graneros's Feliberto Otsando got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Attilio Perna was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Attilio Perna having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogumil Dombrowski during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Graneros's Bogumil Dombrowski got a free kick in the 61st minute. When Daniel Zorita fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Daniel Zorita a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Attilio Perna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Graneros's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Perna came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Leon Annilker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute, Ye Zheng Ming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Attilio Perna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Graneros's Attilio Perna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 96th minute of play.
