Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Berganza started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedicto Medina got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Polentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Kelemen in the 11th minute of the match. In the 21st minute Eugenio Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Villa La Perla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugenio Kelemen to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Bembe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Benedicto Medina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa La Perla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. A collision led to Villa La Perla getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Benedicto Medina hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Eleder made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Medina in the 51st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfonso Goyo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Villa La Perla got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Goyo. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Adan Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Bembe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 61st minute. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Kelemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Kelemen in the 64th minute of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Villa La Perla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Polentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adan Bembe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Berganza in the 66th minute. After a rather tough play, Villa La Perla's Eugenio Kelemen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Amador James hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Medina in the 77th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador James, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Mario Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Adan Bembe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 82nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abraham Alguacil. 85 minutes into the match, Villa La Perla's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Sarmiento came free, but Adan Bembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Omar Polentzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Polentzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 94 minutes, Alex Cambeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the Villa La Perla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Panama's zone, Cleto Urti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal and Cleto Urti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
