Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mariusz Rydzyk came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Przemysl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 7th minute, Timo Werner made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Scigan having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Daniel Zorita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Przemysl players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariusz Rydzyk in the 23rd minute of the match. Artur Scigan came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Artur Scigan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Scigan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Werner came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Przemysl's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Artur Scigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Artur Scigan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timo Werner was the one to do the kick off. Mariusz Rydzyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artur Scigan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luis Andino in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Cezary Plaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cezary Plaski hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to Przemysl getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cezary Plaski hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Mariusz Rydzyk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artur Scigan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Rydzyk in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Waclaw Dubiel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Przemysl's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waclaw Dubiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Hodas in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 91st minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cezary Plaski came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Przemysl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezary Plaski couldn't finish the play. If Bogdan Hodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
