Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 5th minute of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Loco Durazno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but USA's Marco Day was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mats Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Loco Durazno came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Golden Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loco Durazno couldn't finish the play. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loco Durazno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The tension between the USA and the Golden Lions FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Anders Lundqvist in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loco Durazno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Monty Rogers in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Lundqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Zach Harrison kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anders Lundqvist. That made the score 0-1 in the 69 minute of play. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Marcelo Steven replaced İbrahim Efe Topdemir. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Anders Lundqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was Cosme Larpe who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Cosme Larpe almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burç Tokhan in the 89th minute of the match. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalid Parry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lundqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 94th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Golden Lions FC could leave the field as winners, despite USA having more of the ball for most of the match.
