Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedicto Quirze took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Gonzalo Garita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PANTHER BLUE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Garita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Benedicto Quirze made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Benedicto Quirze notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Roberto Benat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfonso Molina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. The supporters of PANTHER BLUE booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Garita came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gonzalo Garita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Garita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Gómez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Tasis to strike the kick off in the second half. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Roberto Benat made a huge save. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Quirze in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Benedicto Quirze put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benito Sanz. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Garita struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PANTHER BLUE. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Puig got free with Roberto Benat in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd match minute, PANTHER BLUE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cambronero to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Ion Gómez made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gogo Lesardo in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, PANTHER BLUE's Roberto Benat got control of the ball when Axel Tasis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Gogo Lesardo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 86th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rubio to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Gogo Lesardo made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 92nd minute, Gogo Lesardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Dan Săvescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PANTHER BLUE had played much better football throughout.
