Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tommy Sundström ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lokomotiv Julita's corner Tommy Sundström fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Luca Espinar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lokomotiv Julita the free kick. 19 minutes into the game, Wiktor Eklund threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Villa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian Nordin was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Lokomotiv Julita's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 39thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotiv Julita's Maximilian Nordin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximilian Nordin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximilian Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Nils-Åke Västlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Maximilian Nordin in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Kjellkvist in the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Lokomotiv Julita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
