Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rickard Ödman started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aden Couzens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aden Couzens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aden Couzens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Aden Couzens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes Clube Atlético Paulista's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montes drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Clube Atlético Paulista's goalkeeper. Aden Couzens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Ödman in the 19th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aden Couzens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Paulista's Aden Couzens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Rickard Ödman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Clube Atlético Paulista's Saul Mambru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Corbett Alonso might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Corbett Alonso ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 43 minutes, Pedrinho Aparecido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Paulista and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 43 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Aparecido. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aden Couzens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Paulista's goalkeeper Aden Couzens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aden Couzens read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. When Clube Atlético Paulista's Rickard Ödman in 63 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Julio Vera guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A hard shot 69 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Aden Couzens managed to make a qualified save. Clube Atlético Paulista's players were relieved. If Rickard Ödman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clube Atlético Paulista made a substitution. Pedro Paulo Massa replaced Evaristo Gaúcho. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Paulista's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aden Couzens came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clube Atlético Paulista's Marquinhos Pena was substituted for Corbett Alonso. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Paulista's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aden Couzens came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rickard Ödman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Paulista. Daniel Zorita scored 0-5 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aden Couzens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Paulista's Klaus Nørbom got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Noah Leverenz. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Aden Couzens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noah Leverenz during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
