Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Feliberto Otsando started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Bogumil Dombrowski's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogumil Dombrowski helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Graneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Dombrowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Attilio Perna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Leon Annilker kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Otsando in the 13th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Tallia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Tallia in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Attilio Perna was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 30th minute, Bogumil Dombrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Attilio Perna in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Feliberto Otsando went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Tallia in the 37th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Attilio Perna. Tomas Illescas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Otsando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Feliberto Otsando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Graneros's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Perna came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Victorino Tallia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. After having played for 62 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Lesardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Victorino Tallia tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Graneros's Feliberto Otsando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorino Tallia. A collision led to Graneros getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Leon Annilker hit a great ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Attilio Perna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The corner led Venezuela's Tomas Illescas to fire away a dangerous shot which Attilio Perna despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 86th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Christian Lesardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Attilio Perna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Graneros's Victorino Tallia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-3 after 95 minutes of play. When the match was over Graneros could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
