With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Yao Yang Peng made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a Vidlákov SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Illescas helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mor Vidlák in the 64th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Mor Vidlák left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vidlákov SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mor Vidlák came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidlákov SK were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rodolfo Britto took the corner. If Miroslav Pavel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mor Vidlák in the 88th minute of play.
