Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sergiu Coșeriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Sergiu Coșeriu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Sergiu Coșeriu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Sergiu Coșeriu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Tilea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. The attack was good, but when Sergiu Coșeriu in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 51st minute of the match. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jean Oltean hit a great ball. After 57 minutes, Sergiu Coșeriu made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 63rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Academia Rio's Olimpiu Dichiseanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Academia Rio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
