Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 13 in the game by Birger Kjellkvist from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. 15 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Julita's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Maximilian Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Birger Kjellkvist struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Julita. After 20 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. In the 21st minute Peder Finman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximilian Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Moruga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Lautaro Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximilian Nordin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wiktor Eklund hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximilian Nordin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiktor Eklund lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lokomotiv Julita fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birger Kjellkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Julita's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Maximilian Nordin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Nils-Åke Västlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Axel Tasis could shoot a difficult shot in the 82nd minute, which Maximilian Nordin however easily saved by the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Axel Tasis lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Maximilian Nordin. Aaron Alcocer kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 91stth minute of the game Birger Kjellkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Costa Rica were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Lokomotiv Julita side.
