Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Julita's Tommy Sundström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andréas Biörkquist in the 13th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Lokomotiv Julita's Birger Kjellkvist. But to his dismay, Birger Kjellkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Maximilian Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. Juan Rubio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes, Lautaro Puig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Lokomotiv Julita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lokomotiv Julita booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Kjellkvist in the 38th minute. A hard shot 38 in the game by Birger Kjellkvist from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. When Tommy Sundström came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Lokomotiv Julita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Sundström couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Birger Kjellkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Birger Kjellkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Maximilian Nordin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Lokomotiv Julita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Wiktor Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiktor Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Lokomotiv Julita got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Eklund. Maximilian Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 60th minute of the match. Peder Finman scored 3-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Birger Kjellkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Åke Västlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Peder Finman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Julita's goalkeeper Maximilian Nordin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aaron Alcocer. After 81 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Lokomotiv Julita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 83 minutes, Birger Kjellkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Julita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Birger Kjellkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Birger Kjellkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Birger Kjellkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Maximilian Nordin was a little too slow when Eliseo Noboa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Lokomotiv Julita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
