Ezequiel Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Marco Day made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 6th minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ezequiel Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Anaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Edward Mcdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Anaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Pereira in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 22nd minute of play forced Lobo Guará's goalkeeper Daniel Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Mcdonald struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Daniel Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ezequiel Pereira in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match Lobo Guará got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nando Barbosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Nando Barbosa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marco Day quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Lobo Guará getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nando Barbosa hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Anaya made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Monty Rogers received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Anaya came out and tried to block the shot, but Monty Rogers slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 58th minute. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Aykut Adar replaced Kerimhan Özonder. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Monty Rogers sped through Lobo Guará's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Anaya. Daniel Anaya made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Cassius Byrne sent off a good shot on target. Lobo Guará's Luizinho Custódio was substituted for Willian Caca-Rato. Lobo Guará made a substitution. Ciro de Moraes replaced Ezequiel Pereira. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. In the 71st minute of the match USA got a corner. Lobo Guará's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Monty Rogers ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Monty Rogers almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lobo Guará's Daniel Anaya did a great save. Lobo Guará were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nando Barbosa took the corner. Nando Barbosa made a great header on Lobo Guará's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When USA's Monty Rogers in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lobo Guará's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 minutes Lobo Guará's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jenson Smith who took care of the corner kick. Sam Campbell was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Khalid Parry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lobo Guará's Ciro de Moraes in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Luizinho Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Zach Harrison hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. USA were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
