The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wen Bing Liang to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Attila Pálffy in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Ludomil Bronkala hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of SÉ SE booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Andino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attila Pálffy, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but SÉ SE were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
