Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Neşat İsrafil. Neşat İsrafil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Mocaph SC's Linus Bratvold quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christian Sancho, made in the 43rd minute of the game. After 44 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. In the 46th match minute, Mocaph SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Bratvold to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tales de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
