Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Nicky Foote could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. The supporters of NapoleonMG booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicky Foote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bogdan Fafinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jonathan Udalaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Bogdan Fafinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 35th minute of play. After 37 played minutes NapoleonMG got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Bela. 40 minutes into the match, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Fafinski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Bela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NapoleonMG's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 52nd match minute, NapoleonMG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Bela to maneuver through the defense. 52 minutes into the match, NapoleonMG's goalkeeper Bogdan Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. After 55 minutes, Ivan Navarro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the NapoleonMG players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Lucio Fagondo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, NapoleonMG's goalkeeper Bogdan Fafinski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Bogdan Fafinski. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Honduras's Sebastian Villa in the 74th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Bogdan Fafinski was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for NapoleonMG through an amazing save. After 75 played minutes NapoleonMG got a freekick which was hit by Santos Marz. In the 76th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Fafinski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 79 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. Bogdan Fafinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd minute of play. Bogdan Fafinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Fafinski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 87 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Navarro. Honduras's Luca Espinar got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The NapoleonMG supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Honduras's performance. The match ended with a win for Honduras.
