Victoriano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes of play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victoriano Abel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Saba. 22 minutes into the match, Average Joes's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Victoriano Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 23rd minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Morat kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arthur Saba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Average Joes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Saba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jo Blanchaert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Per Rolandsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Average Joes's Mattias Finnman was substituted for Jo Blanchaert. 73 minutes into the match, Mattias Finnman notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Finnman came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Abel made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. After 85 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Average Joes's Arthur Saba in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Average Joes from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Average Joes fully deserved thier win.
