In the 10th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Björkdahl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luis Andino scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Björkdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Björkdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th match minute, IFK Gladdarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbasa Sirvent to maneuver through the defense. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugeniusz Cichewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Niklas Lindfors was slow to take the kick. During this time IFK Gladdarna's players had a chance to rest. Niklas Lindfors made a great header on IFK Gladdarna's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. IFK Gladdarna's Torbjörn Hägglund got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Koch in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute IFK Gladdarna were awarded a corner. Niklas Lindfors went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Eugeniusz Cichewski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by IFK Gladdarna's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that IFK Gladdarna's Emanuel Björkdahl managed to reach the ball for a save.
