Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Mariano in the 16 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Vatan Enfal sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Vatan Enfal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 in the 19 minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Vatan Enfal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Inter de Chillán booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Enfal in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 57th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Vatan Enfal came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Vatan Enfal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Vatan Enfal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. Rickard Erserman took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Rickard Erserman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Erserman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Inter de Chillán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
