Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Svetoslav Vardarov made the kick off and thus started the match. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Svetoslav Vardarov's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Costa Rica's goalie and right to Mauro Lugo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Costa Rica's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 8th minute, Svetoslav Vardarov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 9th minute. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Svetoslav Vardarov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svetoslav Vardarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svetoslav Vardarov in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Expresso Ranelagh's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Puig came free, but Rosendo Gitano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svetoslav Vardarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Svetoslav Vardarov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Svetoslav Vardarov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 35th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Svetoslav Vardarov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Svetoslav Vardarov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 51st play minutes Svetoslav Vardarov shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Expresso Ranelagh booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Moruga to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute of the match, Lautaro Puig got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rosendo Gitano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Costa Rica were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Expresso Ranelagh's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Tasis took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Axel Tasis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rosendo Gitano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 68th minute. Svetoslav Vardarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesare Raimondi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Svetoslav Vardarov ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Svetoslav Vardarov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Expresso Ranelagh were the better team. Expresso Ranelagh's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
