After having played for 17 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franciszek Modliszewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Siekierski having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Brow Team got a freekick which was hit by Feliks Klejnowski. In the 38th match minute, Brow Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrzej Cichocki to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Franciszek Modliszewski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner led Brow Team's Norbert Kostrzewa to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franciszek Modliszewski in the 55th minute of the match. Igor Siekierski made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Siekierski having to interfere. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brow Team's Igor Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Brow Team from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle, Brow Team could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
