Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomas Illescas made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taisto Pentsinen in the 3rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Taisto Pentsinen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Taisto Pentsinen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 10thth minute of the game Taisto Pentsinen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Davide Beckham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Davide Beckham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Taisto Pentsinen made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 21st minute, Davide Beckham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Eero Uusipaavalniemi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taisto Pentsinen in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Davide Beckham notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Valdemar Kuoppala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. After 44 minutes of play, Manchester United FC's Taisto Pentsinen made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taisto Pentsinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Manchester United FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Kuoppala was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Taisto Pentsinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valdemar Kuoppala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taisto Pentsinen in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eero Uusipaavalniemi during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Eero Uusipaavalniemi. Eero Uusipaavalniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Valdemar Kuoppala left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. In the 76th minute, Alfred Laulaja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Taisto Pentsinen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Kuoppala, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Valdemar Kuoppalas short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 93rd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdemar Kuoppala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Venezuela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
