In the 2nd match minute, HuaHin City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Odén to maneuver through the defense. 3 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Killian Armada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Killian Armada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of the match. Heriberto Haedo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HuaHin City. 0-1 became the score in the 15th minute when Julian Murillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koronis Corona, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gabriel Kolberg kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Killian Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 22nd minute of play. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Killian Armada having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peru's Joaquin Prats got a free kick in the 39th minute. Killian Armada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koronis Corona was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Koronis Corona went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
