The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zhao Sen Yang struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Pandele in the 7th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save A.D. Alcorcón from getting a goal against them. Maurino Serena was a little too slow when Zhao Sen Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Belo Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters rose to their feet, but Belo Alvarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Chiuzbaian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolo Bacete in the 15th minute of play. Zhao Sen Yang who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Maurino Serena when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emil Wielopolski in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Grau got free with Maurino Serena in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24thth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Vadillos in the 25th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Wielopolski in the 29th minute of play. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Wielopolski came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the game Stasio Bienienda made a throw-in which Emil Wielopolski played forward. In the 48th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurino Serena. Maurino Serena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belo Alvarez to strike the kick off in the second half. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 57th minute of play. After 61 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurino Serena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Iftode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Wielopolski, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Grigore Maghiran had to leave the field with a concussion. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Grau came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Bernardo Di Piazza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maurino Serena came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- reached it. Björn Jernberg hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
